He specialises in commercial law, Māori business and property, agribusiness, property, and the everyday needs of commercial enterprise and how they succeed — but his real specialty is people. Clients trust him because he’s genuine, and always in it for the long run. From family businesses to international investors, Tom’s many contradictions help him bring real, unique perspective to every problem.
Away from work, he backs the community he grew up in — Chairing of Sport Bay of Plenty, a trustee of several private trusts, a director of small development companies, and sitting on the Inspired Kindergarten Board.
